Hope all of you there had as much fun as I did in planning and organising them for you. Very sporting lot ... the whole lot of you ... thanks *smach*. Next week, there'll be an after-math, a debrief of the seemingly mindless myraid of activities that you got yourselves into ... there's a purpose for everything, let us learn together as we unravel the rational behind everything we did together at the playground.

Please also bring along your laptops so tha twe can start our team formations and do a little journeling of our learning adventure.

Dreary Saturday Afternoon

Airell here, if you don't already know. I just received the cordial invitation to this blog via gmail, and the pleasure is all mine.

Talking about pleasures, I take gratitude in Photography (www.flickr.com/airell), Music, Arts, Literature (apologies for sounding too intellectual, I really am not), and Travelling.

I hate Blogs, blogging, or whatever it is. But then again, succumbing to peer pressure, I do have a blog. But it's pretty dumb anyhow. I prefer writing in its physical form, it's like poetry, like coffee and tea. For me, watching how concepts and literature being coined and created on paper is godsend.

I own a Nikon D80, and I hear that Max has an EOS 30D, I might be bringing my camera down this Monday, so well, prepare yourself and please do ham it up for the camera.

Just in case you are clueless to what MINGALABA means, it represents HELLO in BURMESE. so MINGALABA to all of you. This is CANDY, C to the A to the N to the D to the Y. Please do not ask me for discounts or vouchers when you want to make purchases in Candy Empire. Yes, I own the place but my managers despise customers who think they have privileges just because they know me personally. So please don't make matters difficult for me!

Alright, enough of that and back to the introduction session. I love Blue (colour) and the boyband BLUE. I used to colour all the humans in blue back in primary school art lessons. That goes to show how much I love that colour and I do enjoy looking at my own art pieces and i just simply love the fact that all the humans looked like blueberries. ( * takes in a deep breath after the long sentence.)

Well, I like sushi, donuts, potatoes, dark chocolates, ice cream and italian food. I don't know if that is going to help you much in understanding me more. Nobody relates sushi to a person. (For e.g. Candy Lim= sushi.) But maybe this mathematical formula might help you guys in remembering me. Candy Lim is not equivalent to MATHEMATICS. This simply means that I WILL NOT, LET ME REITERATE AGAIN, WILL NOT tolerate numbers, ratios, differentiation, algebra and maybe a little statistics.

That explains why I ended up in Mass Communications. I was hoping that I do not have to deal with the torment of doing calculations and statistics. But guess what? It seems that in life, the more you want to avoid a circumstance, the more likely it is for the circumstance to come chasing after you. Just so you know, I survived a module called Media Research Methods and from the name, it suggests statistics and numbers and countless of invisible barriers. BUT I SURVIVED!

I love movies as it is equivalent ( = ) to sitting on comfortable chairs and focusing on movies and reaching out for the packet of popcorn that is usually nicely propped up on my friend's lap. (BREATHES DEEPLY AGAIN FOR THE LONG SENTENCE)

Okay, you can say I love to shop for tops and stuff.

I can't seem to think of anything else to describe about myself. I guess I can always come back for another post. So there, TATA, and CIAO AGAIN!

And so we had our first day for Events Management with Mr.. oh with Max. Right from the beginning it was pretty evident how our class won't be a conventional class expecially with a faciliator or might we say a tour guide rather than a tutor. Nice. It's nice to start of the semester with such a class especially at 8 a.m in the morning. The 16 grid square exercise, the moving around class and even our own version of " Market yourself Idol" with our very own Ken Lim, Ariel. :]

It's nice to know that IS won't be like IS anymore but more like an..adventure. A little adventure every week. I have my own reasons why I like west coast park so much. And when I found out that our next lesson was to be at west coast park next week,

I was so happy.

I am so looking forward to 9 at west coast week with all of you guys next monday.

Hi hi, I had a fun time yesterday.

I'm Jacqueline from BIT, people tend to call me Jac as they find my name is too long. I'm not a sporty person, I preferred to laze around. My life is filled with Japanese stuffs most of the time.

• I love to listen to J-rock and J-pop. My top 3 favourite bands are ELLEGARDEN, Alice Nine and Arashi.



• Also loves manga, Anime and Japanese drama.



• Playing with Nintendo DS lite.



• Favourite game so far is called Chrono Trigger, it's a very old game but I never get tired of playing it again and again. =D

I'm Peggy and if you remember, yep, the SLIGHTLY older one who takes up martial arts. Haha. Ok... I'm not really a martial arts expert seriously, and absolutely NOT violent. Oh, by the way I'm from Mass Comm and in kickboxing (Kungfu Club).

I love singing for fun, love most sports, love watching dramas (when i have the time) and love camwhoring (that explains why i'm friends with ira :P ). I love music too! I can sing to tune BUT hah.. no talents too when it comes to instruments.

Oh... i'm actually a really clumsy person. Hah. And I like to think i'm a easy-going and friendly person. :)

It was really nice getting to know everyone on the first day of class yesterday. Heh. I've heard about the groupings and I'm still quite lost. Who's group am I in? Haha.. Oh well.

I'm from Mass Comm and here I am about to take Events Management as one of my IS modules this semester.

I listen to hip hop, r&b, acoustic, jazz ( here and there). I am a dancer and am with New Revolving Age ( NRA) - our school dance club. I love to dance. It helps get the balance back in life when it gets hard; especially with assignments and all.

I think that wiriting is at its best when you don't think at all. Just let your heart talk through your hands and there you have it- literature at its purest form. It's amazing how capable your heart can be.

Yes. heart over mind for me. :]

And lastly, I love people watching.

LIke what would you do? If you caught someone looking at you or in my terms, scanning you? Someone who eye-talks with mine even if I don't know you.

Okay I’ve been procrastinating this for some time, so I suppose that should already tell you all a little about me.

Anyway hi, I’m Sahira but you can call me Ira if it’s too hard to remember. Hurhur. I’m from Mass Comm, and uhh, I’m really bad at writing about myself.

I love music to death, though sadly I've no talent in any instruments or singing whatsover. I listen to a wide spectrum of music, especially rock – all kinds of rock. But I really, really, really dislike hiphop, techno and trance with a passion.

I just started watching Heroes recently and I'm loving it. Ya-ta!

I eat nothing but fish & chips. Okay, that’s a lie, but it might seem that way if you hang out with me enough during meal times.
